Children's faces are blurred to protect their identity

The deteriorating law and order situation in Pakistan is creating new dangers for child laborers, especially those involved in scavenging and selling food items.

The recent blast at a mosque during prayers at the Peshawar police headquarters killed more than 100 persons and made a dangerous situation for the children working in the city even worse. Their work takes them into crowded areas where terror attacks are most likely to occur. Every day that they go to work, they not only risk becoming victims of a bomb blast, but they must also fear being profiled by the police as potential suicide attackers.

Despite these dangers, Yahyahe and his friends have no choice but to work for the survival of their families, which is becoming harder each day due to galloping inflation.
