Eid is a Special day for all, but more for Children

Children's faces are blurred to protect their identity

Eid is an occasion where everyone gets to wear new dresses, shoes, receive money from elders and party. But it is not so for the children who are forced into child labour and robbed of their childhood. Mr. Aamir made this day a memorable day for the children of Brighter Tomorrow with support of the local community. For the first time in their lives these children received new dresses, shoes and cash known as Eidhi.

It was for the first time in their lives that they not only got new shoes but were able to choose their own shoes in the shoe store. According to Shafique, “this is a unique day in my life, while serving tea in the market I used to peep into the Shoe stores- I never expected that one day I would be able to go into the shop to buy shoes of my choice. I hope this will not be the last Eid of its kind and we will be able to get new dresses, shoes and Eidhi in the next Eid too”

We hope you will join us in making a difference in the lives of these children who are forced into child labor from dawn to dusk.
